Tierra Mia Mexican Grill – Authentic, Family-Owned Mexican Eats in Anaheim Near Disneyland

If you are ever in Anaheim or visiting Disneyland, give this family-owned restaurant a try (YAY Support Small), decided to have our yearly girls luncheon here, although it was only 4 of us, we can eat and talk for hours. We met with the owner Jesus and he was so sweet and kind, we honestly didn’t know what to order but since we are all foodies we asked if he can just send out all his favs; Chicken and Beef Flautas – served with lettuce, guac, crema – crispy and hot Chicken and Beef Tamales – Flavorful and moist Shrimp ceviche – Fresh, tasty, everyone ate this up Rice and Beans – Great portion Mixed Brasero – This came out piping hot and stays hot throughout the meal. The meats were all seasoned well, the nopales gave a nice texture to the meal, one of my favorite things here. If you are a party of 4 or more, consider getting this – it’s basically fajitas without the peppers and onions but you really can’t, go wrong with this one! Tortilla, rice and beans and you’ve got a bussin meal! The menu is a bit extensive but according to the owner, its what the people want, they cater to everyone!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. The portions of the dishes are extremely large, filling, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend stopping in if you aren't from the area. Support small and local businesses.

The owner stayed open later just because we came in 15 minutes before they closed. The food was served very quick and we were asked if we needed anything by the waitress several times, service was 10/10. I highly recommend coming here after a day at Disneyland, the food was wonderful for a decent price.

Drove 15 hours, was craving a michelada and menudo. Saw this place was local with good reviews. Ordered menudo and Clamato with Pacifico beer. The menudo was one of the best I've ever had, flavorful with perfect condiments. Dayanira was our server and very friendly and attentive. The Clamato beer could use more salt and lime / seasoning but considering how delicious the food is and family/locally owned it should be more BUSY!!!!

We popped by on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by this lovely place! We were visiting from out of town to do Disney but I first needed my Mexican food craving fixed. My partner pulled up ratings and we chose Tierra Mia because of the great reviews. Don't judge this place upon first arrival. Yes, the look of it kind of gets lost in the strip mall but there is beauty in the simplicity. First off, their salsa is amazing! They sell it in larger containers which is great because you will want to stock your fridge at home with it! Our server was Mia herself! It is a family owned restaurant, named after the owners daughter. She was such a delight. Her service was friendly, personable and the family touch made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. The menu is what you regularly see but each bite is loaded with so much taste! We were making yummy noises as we worked our way through our plates. I can't recommend this place enough! It's important to support family small businesses and in return you get delicious eats and friendly service. Cheers! BTW: Afterward, check out the neighboring bakery! It's another family run spot with TONS of delicious goodies! We left with 2 boxes full!

I came in and ordered food for the first time since new ownership , food is delicious, Customer service is excellent. I recommend asking for Paola, best service Always. I’m excited for the New Renovations!
